This is a bit more of an unwalked track so you will probably not see many people so good for people who like a bit of peace and quiet. There are some slippery spots and a little bit of climbing but nothing too serious. Plenty of parking space.

The path is easy to follow if you look hard. But when you get to the saddle there seams to be plenty of false trails where the path suddenly fades out.leaving you in a dilemma
In my case I continued only to find myself in uncharted territory. But was able to continue and pick up the road and continue.
Seems to me that the paths need to be more clearly defined, otherwise it spoils the enjoyment of the climb.

If I had legs with the same amount of heft as my brother Max, I could’ve ascended the summit much faster. I suppose I am not a vegan like him and I don’t play nearly enough golf to grow my quads so big
- Jamie Hay Added January 27, 2024★ ★ ★ ★ ★Excellent hike up two peaks of mount may. Steep ascent to start up a clearly defined track starting at waterfall creek road camp ground. Great views of mount barney. Some interesting bits of rock scrambling and climbing and a pleasant walk back along a dirt road to the camp ground, with lots of wallabies and nice views. Well worth doing.
